We are excited you are joining the Elizabethtown College community! Orientation marks the official beginning of your college adventure--and is a comprehensive program that assists new students in making successful transitions, academically and socially, into the College community.
Our two-part orientation program begins in June with a one-day Summer Orientation experience and concludes with a Fall Orientation, in August, where all first-year students move in to campus three days before classes start. Your Peer Mentors will guide you throughout both. Orientation continues throughout the fall semester through the coordinated efforts of Student Life and Academics.
Summer Orientation is a one-day experience for incoming students held on June 21, 22, 23 and 24, 2017...more about E-town's Summer Orientation
During Summer Orientation, students will focus on academic advising and preparing for the academic and transitional challenges inherent in the first year of college. Parents and families are also a part of this; they will participate in their own orientation experience. Families and students will each have the opportunity to meet with their First-Year Advisor, who is also the instructor of their First-Year Seminar, and fall class schedules will be distributed.
Fall Orientation begins in late August. You will move onto the campus three days before the start of classes. You will immediately be immersed into the student culture of Elizabethtown through a series of both academic and social events.
