Tentative Fall 2016 Orientation Schedule

parents and students moving in at Elizabethtown College with welcome new students signFall orientation begins in late August. You will move onto the campus three days before the start of classes. You will immediately be immersed into the student culture of Elizabethtown through a series of both academic and social events.

Move-in begins at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, August 26 * and fellow Blue Jays will be on hand to assist you in moving into your residence hall room.

Admissions and Residence Life Check-in will be a drive thru at Leffler Chapel and Performance Center. Residence Hall directions from the Chapel are posted on the Orientation home page for your convenience. Once you move in to your residence hall, please move your car to a designated area and be sure to visit the various information tables throughout Brossman Commons concourse. We invite you to join us for a complimentary brunch under the tent on Brinser Field.

Orientation continues throughout the fall semester through the coordinated efforts of Student Life and Academics. The First-Year Seminar is instrumental in facilitating an extended orientation.

* Students participating in the Elizabethtown College Honors program will arrive on campus on Thursday, August 25, 2016.

Pound is a full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and Isometric poses into a 45-minute series designed to strengthen and sculpt infrequently used muscles – all while rocking out to your favorite music! Ripstix will be provided.  Participants are encouraged to bring a towel and water.
