Areas of Study
Students in the Computer Science program at Elizabethtown College are provided with a strong curriculum from which a professional career may be launched or a graduate program pursued. You may choose from three majors:
First-Year Common Curriculum
Students in all three majors offered by the Computer Science program share a common curriculum during the first year, which includes these two courses:
- Computer Science I is an introduction to programming using the Java language.

Computer Science II continues the study of programming in Java and introduces data structures and more complex algorithms.
Second-Year Curriculum
During the second year, major requirements begin to diverge.
