Information Systems
This degree involves the study of software and hardware that support data - intensive, integrated information applications. The major prepares students for leading national and world job classifications and highly valued professions such as systems managers, project managers, system analysts, software engineers, database systems developers and administrators and others, as well as for graduate study. IS majors also are required to take business courses covering management and organizational behavior, the legal environment of business and economics.
The minor in Information Systems consists of four required courses and two additional electives from the Information Systems major requirements at or above the 200-level.
