As I prepare to graduate from the University at Albany with an M.A. in History and an M.S. in Information Science, I can see that the foundation I obtained at Elizabethtown prepared me for my present education and future career. Elizabethtown gave me the flexibility to take a wide range of courses, allowing me to pursue my varied historical interests while also engaging deeply with course materials. My professors challenged me and my fellow students to analyze and critique the works we read. This led not only to memorable class discussions but also prepared me to participate in graduate level courses. I also learned how to research and properly utilize primary historical materials, which stimulated my interest an archival career and further prepared me for graduate school.
