As a student of history, I was able to learn how to dissect texts, make compelling arguments, and write clearly and effectively. Before coming to Elizabethtown, I knew that I wanted to study political science, but I also enjoyed and wanted to study history. As a result, I became a double major. I was also able to take an Asian studies minor by enrolling in Asian history courses with Dr. Kenley. The history faculty is fantastic and shows an interest in your development throughout your time at Elizabethtown. After
graduation, I completed a six-month internship with Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney(D-NY) in Washington, D.C. One of my many responsibilities was giving a tour on the history of the Capitol building. At present, I am working for the BrownMillerGroup, a public affairs consulting firm in New York City. My education at Elizabethtown College and the mentorship of the History faculty prepared me for the real world.
