Elizabethtown College gave me an opportunity to follow my passions and prepare for a career in government administration. Through courses offerings, collaboration with colleagues, and interdepartmental cooperation, I had the chance to truly challenge myself and become part of the campus community. By studying English and History, I developed a greater appreciation for the artistry of language and refined research skills. In my job with the York County Clerk of Courts, attention to detail and effective communication play integral roles on a daily basis. Through classes, on-campus lectures, and cultural activities, my education also taught me the value of curiosity. Curiosity is not only important when learning new tasks but is also invaluable when networking or for continued personal growth. By studying at Elizabethtown College, students acquire skills that will serve them in their academic careers and for the rest of their lives.
