After Graduation
Graduates of the Philosophy program at Elizabethtown College have adopted a number of different professions ranging from attorney to professor. Our Pre-Law Advising Program helps prepare students for entry to law schools including Georgetown, University of Pennsylvania, College of William and Mary, Temple, Dickinson, Widener and Pittsburgh. Our attorney alumni practice nearly every area of law—in private and government service—in cities across the United States.
Graduates who have gone on to higher education teach at institutions from Miami to San Francisco. Those who minor in Philosophy but major in another area occupy a broad range of professions from medicine to business.
A survey of alumni from the past decade shows that 80-percent our graduates have full-time employment, with an average annual salary of $50,000.
Alumni have pursued advance degrees at institutions such as:
- Princeton University
- University of Pennsylvania
- Theological Seminary
- Boston University
