GEMS Living Learning Community
The Office of Diversity has partnered with the Office of Residence Life to create a new multicultural living learning community, GEMS (Growing to Empower a Multicultural Society). This community brings together students from different backgrounds under the theme of exploring social justice.
This living community meets every other Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. in the Founders Lobby to congregate, discuss topics, and other various events aimed at enriching the Resident Halls with new and engaging materials, all while growing to empower a multicultural society.

Our core curriculum emphasizes creative thinking, decision–making and problem-solving skills.

Have questions? Telecounselors have answers and are available for live chat Monday–Thursday, 6pm – 8pm via Facebook chat.

Our commitment is to Educate for Service, discover how that has/and will continue to shape our history.
