9:30-11:30 am This course introduces the basics of creating and opening a simple report, learning to work tables in the data source, relating multiple tables, sorting and placing conditions on what is displayed. You will use libraries and the program's toolbars, called painters.
This class is open to staff and faculty who create reports in InfoMaker from Jenzabar data.

Tue.
May 7
1-4:00 pm Learn to use And and Or criteria in the Data Query plus data source syntax troubleshooting. You will print the report and data source, solve printing problems, format the report, save the report as an Excel spreadsheet, and work with report titles. You will learn how to create a report's computed objects and report grouping and summaries. Learn to use report grouping layouts known as "By By" reports.
This class is open to staff and faculty who create reports in InfoMaker from Jenzabar data.
Beginning Excel 2010 Tue, & Wed.
May 14 & 15
1-4:30 pm Become comfortable setting up and formatting a spreadsheet, work with page settings and printing features specific to Excel. Enter and edit words and numbers, understand error messages and learn to create formulas and some of the basic functions like AVERAGE and COUNT.
This class is open to faculty, staff and students for only the $30 book fee. The general public may also attend for $100.
Excel 2010 as a Database Mon.
May 20 
1-4:30 pm Methods of filtering, outlining, subtotaling, sorting and searching to display only relevant data is possible in Excel. Use database functions to retrieve an answer and pivot tables to see trends. Try the consolidate command to summarize. If you are familiar with Excel and want to make it more useful, join this class.

Publisher 2010 Introduction Tues.
June 4
9 am-3pm Publisher, a program in the Microsoft Office 2010 suite, is a desktop publishing program that makes it easy to layout simple flyers to complex newsletters. You will learn to insert and edit pictures, clip art and shapes, tables, WordArt, headers and footers and building blocks. We will investigate and setup varied page layouts such as brochures and greeting cards and apply designs that make your publication eye-catching.

PowerPoint 2010 Introduction Tues.

3:30 pm
Explore the PowerPoint environment and create a new presentation. Format text on slides to enhance clarity, add graphical objects to a presentation and modify them. Add tables, charts and learn how to apply animations. Then finalize the presentation and deliver the slide show.
