What to Bring
Moving into your college residence hall is an exciting time. So exciting that you may forget to bring something. The Office of Residence Life has put together a list of items you'll want to bring along with you -- as well as provided a list of items that should not come to campus with you.
For Your Room
- Trash basket
- Hangers
- Under the bed storage boxes
- Bulletin board/ Door message board (white board)
- Posters
- Students must use Dorm Tape (Mavalus brand) to adhere items to the walls. This product can be purchased online, from Residence Life staff on check-in day, or in the College store
- Rug
- Clamp reading light
- Wall/desk calendar/planner
- Plastic crates
Miscellaneous
- Snack food
- Mugs
- Plastic tableware
- Trash can liners
- Dishwashing liquid
- Surge Protector
- Cleaning supplies
- Bathrobe
- Shower shoes
- Shower caddy (to transport toiletries back and forth to restroom)
- Band-aids
- Medications (aspirin, cough syrup, decongestant)

- Refrigerator* (less than 4.3 cubic ft.)

All furniture that the College provides must remain inside the room.

- Pets: only non-carnivorous fish are allowed in a tank up to 10 gallons
