What Matters & Why

What Matters & Why

Every semester, Called to Lead hosts the What Matters to Me and Why dinner that features a faculty or staff member who shares what really matters to them and why it matters.

What Matters to Me and Why

Have you ever wondered about what really matters to one of your faculty members?  Do you want to know more about a faculty or staff member and why they place significance on certain things?  Then join us for a fabulous dinner and to hear an Elizabethtown College faculty or staff member talk about what really matters to them and why it matters.

The goal of the What Matters to Me and Why Dinner is to encourage campus reflection on purpose, values, decisions, life philosophies, and ethical commitments.  This is an upscale, sophisticated dinner (dress is business casual).  All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend this event.

Fall 2014

Dr. Jane Cavender, Professor of Biology, will be sharing on what really matters to her and why it matters.  The dinner will be held on October 1, 2014, from 5:30-7:00 pm in the Susquehanna Room. RSVP to calledtolead@etown.edu by September 17.

Spring 2015

We will be featuring Called to Lead students at the spring dinner.  These students will be sharing what matters to them and why it matters.  In addition, we will recognize our seniors who are completing the program.  You don't want to miss this exciting dinner!
