The Blue Jay Nest: Home Away From Home
Elizabethtown College is a residential college, which means students who choose to live on campus as first year students, will continue to live on campus throughout their time as undergraduates. There is so much for students to engage with on campus - from academic events to clubs and organizations to athletic games - that we know the Elizabethtown College experience is best when students live in on-campus housing for their undergraduate journey. Incoming students complete a four-year Housing Agreement prior to arriving on campus for move-in day, with the exception of students that opt to commute from home.
On-campus housing is located within easy walking distance of academic, social, and athletic buildings allowing for a seamless transition from the classroom to the dining hall to the residential community. You will dine with your fellow Jays in the Market Place, grab a smoothie at the new Bower’s Center, or attend events such as “The Price is Right,” bingo night, athletic games, or visiting food trucks. You will also have the opportunity to explore new ideas from renowned artists, authors, performers, and lecturers who regularly visit campus to enhance your educational experience. As a Jay your opportunities are limitless!
Whether you live in a traditional residence hall, townhouse, apartment, or house, you have the opportunity to Live Etown! Live Etown is our blueprint for cultivating inclusive and vibrant communities, fostering a sense of belonging, and inspiring meaningful learning. Check out the Live Etown blueprint here.
We look forward to having you join our nest!
