Fall New Student Orientation - August 18-21, 2022
Starting with check-in / move-in day, we welcome students to campus as they begin their Blue Jay journey. Parents and families (and our volunteers) help students move in and then enjoy time exploring campus before departing that same day. Learning information about the college community, our policies and resources, and exploring the campus and the local community are key aspects of fall new student orientation. Peer Mentors will guide students through this information-filled and fun weekend. Commuters and new, incoming transfer students are encouraged to attend NSO as it is a thoughtful combination of required information and social events that are planned to help students get to know their peers and start their time at Etown with new connections.
New students will check-in on August 18, 2022.
Residential Students
All new residential students will check-in at Leffler Chapel before going to their Residence Hall to move in (on 8/16, 8/17, and 8/18). Residential students will be assigned a check-in time slot on August 18. During that time, drive through our check-in tent to receive your college ID, room key, and welcome packet. Then, you’ll drive to your residence hall where you’ll be greeted by volunteers who will help carry your items to your room.
