Real Estate Exam Prep Courses
Elizabethtown College's School of Graduate and Professional Studies offers online real estate courses designed to equip adult learners with the knowledge, skills, and credits necessary to complete the Real Estate Salesperson Exam. The Pennsylvania Department of State Real Estate Commission requires individuals to complete a minimum of 75 hours of basic real estate courses to sit for the licensure exam.
Etown's program comprises of two required courses, Real Estate Fundamentals and Real Estate Practice, which together fulfill the hour requirements set by the Real Estate Commission. Both courses are conveniently offered online, enabling students to expedite their learning journey from the comfort of their homes. Our interactive online platform empowers students to actively engage with course materials, foster collaboration among peers, and conveniently access resources at their own pace.

Real Estate Fundamentals
Our Real Estate Fundamentals course lays the groundwork for success, providing a comprehensive understanding of the complex legal issues involved in real estate. With a focus on Pennsylvania's practices, students gain valuable insights and develop a solid, technical, legal foundation upon which to build their careers. This course, when paired with the Real Estate Practice elective, can offer a revenue stream to candidates after passing the licensure exam, while continuing to pursue additional SGPS courses and programs.
Real Estate Practice
Complementing the fundamentals course, our Real Estate Practice course immerses students in the practical aspects of the industry. From mastering the scope of the business to understanding ethical conduct, this course equips learners with the skills necessary to navigate the real estate landscape with confidence. By fulfilling the hour requirements set by the Real Estate Commission, this course paves the way to becoming a licensed real estate agent.
Both real estate courses can also be taken at the undergraduate level as major electives for the Business Administration major or general electives in other undergraduate programs.
