Convocation

Convocation took place on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, 4:00 p.m. in the Dell.  Convocation for next year will take place on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, 4:00 p.m. (in case of inclement weather it will be held in Leffler Chapel).   Convocation is the annual official opening ceremony for students for the academic year recognizing first-year students, faculty who are serving their first year as tenured faculty and/or promoted and college/emerging scholars.

Dr. Conrad Kanagy, Promoted to Professor of Sociology in the Sociology/Anthropology Department

Dr. Charla Lorenzen, Tenured and Promoted to Associate Professor of Modern Languages in the Modern Languages Department

Dr. Jeffery Long, Promoted to Professor of Religion and Asian Studies in the Religious Studies Department

Dr. Gabriela Sanchis, Promoted to Professor of Mathematics in the Mathematical and Computer Sciences Department
