Convocation

Convocation will take place on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, 4:00 p.m. in Leffler Chapel. Convocation is the annual official opening ceremony for the academic year. Those recognized include:  first-year students, faculty members who have been promoted and/or tenured (listed below), and emergent scholars.

Faculty Recognized for the 2016-17 academic year:

Sara A. Atwood — tenured and promoted to associate professor of engineering

Aaron L. Cecala — tenured and promoted to associate professor of biology

Andy Dunlap — promoted to associate professor of social work

Tomas E. Estrada — tenured and promoted to associate professor of electrical engineering

Kyle C. Kopko — tenured and promoted to associate professor of political science
