School Resources

At the School of Public Service, we nurture a warm and inclusive environment where students are equipped with the tools and understanding they need to make a real difference. Our blend of hands-on learning and thoughtful academic study gives every student the opportunity to grow and to envision a better world. Through personalized support and access to groundbreaking resources, we ensure our graduates don't just face the world as it is but are empowered to shape it with compassion, innovation, and a deep sense of community.

The Communications Department utilizes specialized classrooms, a Mac Lab with industry-standard software, and the Media Center, which encompasses student media operations like WWEC 88.3 FM, ECTV Channel 40, and The Etownian newspaper. The facilities foster a collaborative learning atmosphere, featuring Video and Audio Editing Suites, a fully equipped Audio Studio, a Television Production Studio, and a Control Room for live broadcasts. Additionally, the program offers a dedicated Photo Studio and Workroom for digital photography, a Newsroom for The Etownian, and a Lounge Area for student collaboration. These resources not only prepare students for real-world media production and communication challenges but also encourage peer-to-peer learning and problem-solving in a professional setting.
