Fine Art
Explore Your Artistic Potential
Please Note: Following the 2024-25 academic year, the College will no longer offer Fine Art as a major.
A degree in Fine Art prepares you for a career in the field of visual arts. You will work closely with faculty to develop your artistic skills in drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, color theory and design, and the history of art. As an art major, you will receive attention from student-focused faculty members who want to see you succeed. Faculty members work with you to hone your unique artistic expression.
These courses equip you with the foundational skills needed to produce professional portfolios. During your senior year, you will design personal websites to promote your artwork and perfect your resumes, artist statements and public speaking skills. In preparation for your senior exhibition, you’ll work in your preferred media to create a senior show during the spring semester.
