The Associate Provost for Student Learning and Dean of Faculty provides leadership in recruiting, retaining, and developing an outstanding faculty and promotes a dynamic learning community by working closely with faculty members to foster high levels of effective teaching, productive scholarship, and meaningful service. The Associate Provost for Student Learning and Dean of Faculty also provides direct supervision over Registration and Records, the Teaching and Learning Design Studio, the Momentum Program, Prestigious Scholarships and Fellowships, the First-Year Experience and Second-Year Experience, and serves as an institutional liaison to external organizations such as the American Association of Colleges and Universities and the Council on Undergraduate Research.
Dr. Jodi Lancaster has been an integral member of the faculty at Etown since 2006. She is a Professor of Biology and previously served as Department Chair of Biology and most recently as Dean of the School of Sciences. Jodi has also served four years as Chair of the Academic Standing Committee. Dr. Lancaster earned her Ph.D. in Immunobiology from The Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Lebanon Valley College.
