Student Conduct Board (SCB)
The Student Conduct Board (composed of students, faculty and administrators) is convened to hear allegations of student misconduct. If the respondent is found in violation of the Student Social Conduct Code by the SCB, members impose appropriate sanctions. The student receives the decision in writing.
The Appeal Board (comprised of students, faculty and administrators) is convened to hear cases that are under appeal. There are generally three main reasons for appeal; the student has new information, unavailable at the time of the hearing; the student has concerns with the process that may change or affect the outcome; or the student feels that the sanction issued is severe.
