Shalom ProjectJoin the Shalom Project, a community of young adults in their post-college journey, in their efforts to affect social change through service. Located in Lancaster, the Shalom Project is dedicated to making a meaningful impact through a full-time internship that is designed to match your interests. Brethren House AssociationElizabethtown Church of the Brethren is looking for students who would be interested in helping out with children, 5-12 years old, during the worship hour on Sunday mornings between 10:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. The students would be responsible for interacting socially with the children. Students with some church background who are interested in working with children would be a good fit for this opportunity. State child abuse clearance (no cost) would be required. Their volunteer opportunities are virtual, and volunteers can serve at any time of the day from the comfort of their dorms. New volunteer projects launch monthly, serving the highest-need areas for students, educators, and schools.
