Student Health Insurance Information

Elizabethtown College requires all full-time students to have Health Insurance coverage. It is recommended that students contact their current insurance company to check and see if Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is a participating provider for your insurance plan. The United Healthcare/Students Resources college-sponsored health plan has the following features/advantages for students:

Accepted at LGH Physicians Family Medicine Sycamore Square and Norlanco, both located in Elizabethtown
Low copays
A 3-tiered pharmacy plan
Staff is familiar with this plan for questions or billing concerns and can be a resource for students

Waiving the College-Sponsored Health Insurance Plan

If you have your own health insurance coverage and wish to waive the college-sponsored plan, you must complete the online waiver by the deadline at studentcenter.uhcsr.com/etown.
