Media Relations
The Office of Marketing and Communications handles general media inquiries about the college, and we also connect members of the local, regional and national media with faculty and staff experts to comment on timely stories and events. Additionally, we present interesting and unique stories about the College to media outlets.
Our communications efforts include promoting our cultural events as well as sharing news about our students with their respective hometown newspapers.

Marketing Planning
The basis of our work for on-campus clients is based on an overall marketing plan. Looking at the 'big picture' of the project will allow us, from the beginning, to establish the audience, message, tone, and delivery channels for your project. If you do not have a marketing plan, we can consult with you and assist you with the strategic development. Whether you are launching a new program on campus or want to rebrand an existing one, we can help you do it right.
Graphic Design
Our creative director oversees the creative direction on the majority of our projects. Whether you need a print advertisement, a brochure or an invitation -- or even a vehicle wrapped with your branding message-- our creative design services will make you shine. We consult with you to learn your needs, then with your ideas and input, we'll bring your project to life.
Web and Social Media Marketing
The Office of Marketing and Communications strongly encourages our clients to consider these mediums when considering a marketing plan. Your print publication could also be used on the web. Your event could be promoted through social media. Online channels are a cost-effective way to target your audience and attract attention. Thinking about new media from the beginning will allow our creative director and web team to collaborate -- your postcard could also be an email, your brochure could send people to a website, etc.
Communications Services
It is likely your marketing plan integrates marketing AND communications strategies. Our communications and marketing staff work seamlessly together. If your project requires media relations efforts, our communications team will work with you on creative story pitches, articles, press releases, calendar announcements and more. Visit our media relations newsroom to learn more.
