Feb. 22, 2016 - POSITION OPENING ANNOUNCEMENT: PROGRAM COORDINATOR
The Susquehanna Valley Ministry Center, a ministry training partnership in the Church of the Brethren, is accepting applications for a full-time Program Coordinator who will oversee day-to-day management of the SVMC office based in Elizabethtown. Responsibilities include administrative support, student and instructor contacts, course record keeping, financial record keeping, and creative promotional work. The successful candidate will: demonstrate strong technological, communication, and organizational skills; have the ability to maintain confidentiality; have knowledge of basic accounting skills; demonstrate positive attitude and collaborative work style; have a heart for service. Church of the Brethren membership is preferred.

Donna M. Rhodes
Donna is a graduate of Juniata College from which she also holds an M.A. in Nonprofit Leadership. She completed the TRIM program and the Spiritual Direction program of Oasis Ministries, and holds a certificate in Christian non-profit leadership through Christian Leadership Alliance. Prior to coming to SVMC, she served as Pastor of Nurture at Stone Church of the Brethren in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania and continues there as an active member. Donna is also an accomplished musician and frequently performs piano duets for worship services with her husband Loren.
Erika is a graduate of Haverford College and holds an M.Div. from Union Theological Seminary (New York) and a Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible/Old Testament from Emory University. She grew up at York First Church in Southern PA. Formerly she taught biblical studies and languages at Elizabethtown College.
Ray Flagg is a graduate of LaVerne College, holds an M.A. in mathematics from Texas A&M University, and has done graduate work in computer science and applied mathematics and statistics at East Texas State and Wichita State University. He currently teaches mathematics and computer science at Harrisburg Area Community College in Lancaster, PA. He is a member of Annville Church of the Brethren and donates his service as Treasurer to SVMC. Ray also serves as Treasurer of the Atlantic Northeast District Church of the Brethren.
