English Proficiency Minimum Scores
International students accepted, matriculated, and enrolled with Elizabethtown college who have completed an English Proficiency Examination may receive four credits of English as a Second Language-Power of Language credit towards Elizabethtown College's Core Program.

Students must contact their Education Testing Services to request to have their official scores sent directly to Elizabethtown College for evaluation. Copies of examination scores will not be accepted for evaluation of transfer credit.

Additional Considerations for satisfying Power of Language Area of Understanding
An international student may also satisfy the Core Program requirement by:
- Take a new ancient or modern language at Elizabethtown College
- Take an upper-level course that the department has designated as appropriate for native speakers.
- Take a second Guided Writing and Research (GWR) course
