PIE Slices
Partners in Engineering Block Housing
PIE Slices were created by the Department of Engineering to build community amongst engineering students and provide them with an academically supportive environment while creating opportunities to interact with students in other majors. Engineering students are about to enter one of the most challenging academic programs of their lives and the Slices aim to help you succeed at Elizabethtown College. Each PIE Slice houses 8-16 Engineering students and has a Peer Mentor assigned as a tutor to help them navigate academic challenges.
All first year students enrolled in EGR 100 or PHY 200 can select to live in a PIE Slice where they can collaborate easily with classmates and take part in regular tutoring from a Peer Mentor
